You know me. I love a beautiful gown as much as the next girl. Maybe even more. I collect photos on Pinterest of Couture Gowns and love paging through haute couture magazines. There is so much inspiration there.

I am also super inspired when I see really simple, beautiful, raw photos of women in their most casual outfit, which to me translates to “jeans and a t-shirt” or a simple top. I have really enjoyed photographing so many of my subjects in my studio wearing the simplest of outfits. I love this look with almost no makeup and simple hair or with full-on makeup with lashes and a fabulous mane of hair or a funky hairstyle. The possibilities are endless.

Casually elegant. It is one of my signature looks during my senior photo sessions and my glamour sessions. Those Calvin Klein Guess Jeans ads from back in the day always took my breath away. There is just something about them. I am still obsessed with 90’ supermodels and the type of photographs we started seeing in magazines. It was the new standard of beauty.

I plan on doing a lot of these casual American girl Calvin Klein inspired shoots. Imagine you and your friends in a BFF photo shoot. Wait til you see how cool the Black and White portraits are. THE coolest thing about this look is that each person rocks this look their own way, showing their own unique style.

I looooove to dress up and I loooove to show that you can be just as beautiful in a simple t-shirt and jeans. And let’s face it, it’s just cool. American girl cool. The nineties Supermodel. Aaaah, bring them back!
